This Privacy Policy explains how Haubite Oy (“Haubite”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit haubite.com or order our products. We are the data controller for the personal data described here.

• Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number and delivery address, and the details you enter in the plan builder about your dog (such as breed, age, weight and any allergies).
• Order information: the products you buy, your order and subscription history, and communications with our customer service.
• Payment information: payments are processed securely by our payment provider (Shopify Payments). We do not store your full card details.
• Automatically collected data: basic technical and usage data (such as device type and pages visited) and cookies, as described below.

How we use your data

• To process, fulfil and deliver your orders and manage your subscription.
• To personalise recipe and portion recommendations for your dog.
• To provide customer support and send you order and service messages.
• To operate, secure and improve our website.
• To meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Legal basis

We process your data to perform our contract with you (fulfilling orders), on the basis of our legitimate interests (running and improving our business), with your consent (for optional analytics cookies and any marketing), and to comply with legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers who help us run Haubite, including our e-commerce and checkout platform (Shopify), our website host (Netlify), our delivery partners, and our email provider. These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements. Some providers may process data outside the EU/EEA (for example in the United States); where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We never sell your personal data.

Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for the site and checkout to work, and — with your consent — optional cookies for analytics. You can manage your choices through the cookie banner and your browser settings.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as needed to provide our service and your subscription, and thereafter for as long as required to meet legal obligations (for example, accounting records).

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation you have the right to access your data and to request its rectification or erasure, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time.
