These terms apply when you use haubite.com and when you order products from Haubite Oy (“Haubite”, “we”, “us”). By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.

Our products
Haubite makes fresh, gently cooked, vet-formulated dog food. Our meals are complete pet food intended for dogs only and are not for human consumption. Feeding guidance is a recommendation; for a dog with a medical condition, please consult your veterinarian.
Orders and subscriptions
- When you build a plan and check out, you place an order for the products and, where applicable, a recurring subscription.
- Subscriptions renew automatically and are delivered every two weeks. You can pause, swap recipes or cancel at any time from your account before the weekly cut-off.
- The 50% first-box discount applies to your first order only.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in euros and include VAT. Payment is taken securely at checkout through our payment provider. For subscriptions, payment is taken for each delivery in line with your plan.
Delivery
We deliver across the Helsinki capital region (Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa and Kauniainen). Orders are delivered fresh, always on a Wednesday. Order by Monday 10:00 to receive that week’s Wednesday delivery; orders placed after the cut-off arrive the following Wednesday.
Cancellation, returns and refunds
Because our products are fresh, perishable food, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for distance sales does not apply. Under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act (implementing EU Consumer Rights Directive Article 16), the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that deteriorate or expire rapidly. This means orders of fresh food cannot be returned or refunded for a change of mind.
If your order arrives damaged, spoiled or incorrect, you are entitled to a remedy. Please contact us at info@haubite.com within 24 hours of delivery, with a description and photos where possible, and we will replace the affected products or issue a refund.
You can cancel your subscription at any time, which stops future deliveries. Boxes that have already been dispatched are not refundable except in the case of damage or defect described above.
Storage and handling
Please store and handle the food according to the instructions provided (for example, keep frozen until the evening before serving, then defrost in the fridge). We are not responsible for products that spoil due to incorrect storage after delivery.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Finland. If we cannot resolve a dispute directly, you may refer the matter to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board (Kuluttajariitalautakunta, kuluttajariita.fi).
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when they were last revised.
